Ford Durashift

Durashift is the brand name of a range of Ford Automatic transmission. They feature electronic control with manual selection of gears, available in 4, 5 or 6 gear configurations.
There is also a CVT (Continuously variable transmission) version for smaller cars.
The Ford Transit featured a Durashift EST Automated Shift Manual transmission, which shifted like an Automatic transmission, but had a specially adapted Manual transmission. It had different modes like: Economy, Winter and Tow-Haul mode.
