Oakville Assembly Complex is a Ford Motor Company Automobile factory in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, occupying the same site as and combining the former Ontario Truck plant and Oakville Assembly Plant. It was the site of production for the company's Minivan but is currently being renovated with a $1 billion investment to produce Crossover SUV and Hybrid vehicle by 2010. Phase one was completed with the launch of the Edge and the MKX in the fall of 2006 and phase two is projected to be completed by spring of 2008 with the launch of the Ford Flex. Future projects will include a R&D facility for alternative fuel sources and there are rumours of the addition of an economy car product line.
