Ford Durango was a car manufactured by Ford and modified into a Durango by National Coach Works of L.A., California, between 1978 and 1982. The car was based on Ford's 'Fox' platform, specifically the Ford Fairmont Futura. No one seems to know exactly how many were built, just that it's somewhere between 120-220 units, though most believe there were 210-212. It was intended to replace the Ford Ranchero.
